If you share a bit more about your flow's configuration, we would understand your scenario better and provide a silution for you. Besides, each storage medium has its own byte stand, so the file size would differs slightly.įor your third question, you could add a Recurrence trigger, Interval set to 12, Frequency set to hour:įor your forth question, could you please share a screenshot of your flow’s configuration? Please check if you have set a condition to filter these files. It's so nearly doing what I want but I'm not quite there yet!įor your first question, how do you want Microsoft Flow to monitor your ftp subfolders? Do you want to monitor if there is a file created in subfolders of ftp server? There is no trigger to monitor subfolders of ftp server in Microsoft Flow currently, but we could use “List files in folder” action or “List files in root folder” action of FTP Connector to get the lists of files and subfolders in a folder.įor your second question, which action do you use to copy files to Google Drive? I copy files to Google Drive with “Create file” action, the file is able to read. I have used the template 'ftp server to Google Drive' to achieve the above. I'm a bit stuck here but will monitor the success of transfers. Since changing the folder structure in my ftp server and amending the Flow to suit, when I use a mobile app to move appropriate files to the new folder, only some of them are being added to Google Drive (and with incorrect file sizes - see above). Is there a way of amending the flow to run once every 12 hours or so? At the moment, it's checking every 15 minutes and my 750 monthly runs will be used up in just under 8 days.Ĥ. When Flow copies files to Google Drive, the file size differs slightly and the files are currently unreadable. As far as I have read, I think there's no way (yet) for flow to observe subfolders - am I correct? If I'm wrong, then I would be able to leave the whole thing unmanaged apart from deleting the ftp space every few days.Ģ. Flow will not monitor my ftp subfolders but the webcams automatically place the files in dated folders so I am having to use an ftp app on my mobile to move the created files into a folder which Flow looks at. I am trying to use flow to transfer these images and videos to my unlimited Google Drive account for permanent storage.ġ. I have several ip cameras which store their images and short vidoes on my limited cloud ftp server. Then click "Get Refresh Token" to finish the config.Apologies if the following is rather obvious, I'm new to Flow but have been reading up and absorbing what I can in the past couple of days. The URI needs to end with:Īnd one last important step, you need to enable the GoogleDrive API for your account if its not already.
